[Bug]: PyRevit 6.0 Not loading in 2025

• I don't have SentinelOne antivirus installed (see above for the solution)
• I have searched in the issues (open and closed) but couldn't find a similar issue
• I have searched in the pyRevit Forum for similar issues
• I already followed the installation troubleshooting guide thoroughly
• I am using the latest pyRevit Version

🐞 Describe the bug

I am trying to install the latest version Pyrevit and I'm getting an error. I have uninstalled, removed pyrevit addin files, and restarted and still getting it.
I can't copy/paste the text so I'm going to share (4) screenshots of it the error message.

Open Revit 2025. I am using the latest version of Revit, 2025.4
Opening Revit 2024 does not prompt an error message

⏲️ Expected behavior

I get an error popup and Revit opens without loading Pyrevit

I removed all my addins and added them back in and the issue was the Arch Smarter add in I was using. I don't use it that often, so not a big loss that I can't have it anymore in 2025.

I contacted the maker of archsmarter and he has since updated his software. I tried it and everything appears to be working now.
