🐞 Describe the bug

After installing 6.0.0 (completely uninstalled previous version). In Revit 24 we are getting the attached error when attempting to load the keynote manager. This issue has persisted after completely uninstalling PyRevit 6.0 and reverting to 5.2

We have this same issue, but only after Autodesk Desktop Connector updates to version 17.1.0.16, If you roll back Desktop connector to version 17.0.2.3336, the keynote manager will function again.

Is there anyway to correct this without rolling back Desktop connector? We are told to keep the most up to date version to not cause errors with other employees, but some dont use PyRevit for Keynote manager.

Not that I have found as of yet, but hoping for an update to PyRevit that resolves the issue.

@MT-Thrasher @TBGK1llin @m5james This is likely a change in the Desktop connector API, it is trying to check for the file lock status.

I am running yesterday's build, and it works fine now, you just need to refresh your drives. please try and let me know.

@tay0thman Apologies for the lack of understanding here, what do you mean yesterday's build and refresh your drives? I uninstalled pyRevit and reinstalled, that didnt seem to help.

I have this tested on my pyrevit WIP build and it is working almost right now.

I have downgraded a couple of my users to the 17.0.2.3336(?) Desktop Connector and Keynote Manager is working correctly now. Hopefully a fix comes out soon for pyRevit to address this issue!

I have downloaded the new version of pyRevit and am not seeing a change in the issue for Revit 2023

I am using version 17.1.0.16 of Desktop connector. Unsure if I have any other issues that could be causing this.
