As part of my continued working around this point pats content, I stumbled upon NLMPy by @tretherington et al.
One thing I'd intended for the long-range plan of pointpats was @giuliaok's python implementation of an inhomogeneous K function estimator. As part of that, @giuliaok also built a tool to inhom. poisson point process simulation. That, hooked up on top of the NLMPy DGPs (like for Perlin & other gradient noise), could be very helpful indeed for folks working in point pattern stuff in python.
