Hi.
I saw the new video optimizer and I would love to have such option for other types of media.
I have a vast collection of pictures from internet from back when the .gif was the only animation format playable on web (other than flash ofc) so over those years, files in it are in many different formats and quality.
I don't know if something like that exists but I would want to scan a folder (or whole disk) and identify which files could be "improved"
For example, user could pick that he wants to convert files to a format that uses less space - .gif to .webm. Or in case where they for some reason have a video with a codec that is newer to make it more compatible with older devices - h265 to h264
So basically two options to choose from
space saving
compatibility
Maybe there can also be third option "performance" but I don't know if there are such cases.
Of course that's not limited to just videos and images. There's also audio (wav to flac) (mp3 to m4a) and archives (rar to 7z). It could make czkawka/krokiet a fantastic solution to just run it on old disks and save space for more files or make existing ones more compatible.
