unsupported request method: "CONNECT" - issue or ignore?

If i leave qbittorrent-nox running in the terminal for a bit i will see this.

Well, it's an error in the HTTP parser. Can you reproduce it reliably, and, if so, can you provide a wireshark capture of the offending packets?

The only place where I can see a reference to CONNECT is here:

this is no joke btw. All this client is doing is seeding an ubuntu 20.04 desktop torrent. I have no idea what triggers it. I may not ever show or just appear after 5 minutes. Nothing I have done in the webui seems to trigger it.

I have an update to this.

1: These may be two separate errors as I can only currently reproduce one.

2: To force this error:

Http::RequestParser::ParseResult Http::RequestParser::doParse(const QByteArray&) unsupported request method:  "CONNECT"

Go to options/connection/proxy server and enable http.

Now force renounce the Ubuntu torrent.

It will create this warning.

3: The weird thing i see this warning when I load up with default settings so it appears something triggers the check with the proxy settings also being set to none. Why? I don't know.

4: This error is reproducible with my static bins and the ubuntu PPA qbittorrent-nox install.

Ah, so it seems related to proxy usage after all, which makes sense.

You should open an actual issue report for this, this is a legit bug.
