How to prevent qBittorrent from hogging bandwidth? The web doesn't work!

Can anyone please help? I recently moved into a place with a slow connection (5Mbps) and qBittorrent hogs all the bandwidth. I can no longer use the web when qBittorrent is running. Changing Qbittorrent's speed limits seems to make no difference whatsoever.

Limit more? Reduce max global connections. Also use QoS in your router. If all else fails, consider getting a router with SQM (best form of QoS currently AFAIK).

1. Test your internet speed without running any torrents on https://www.speedtest.net/
2. Set the Download and Upload limit in qBittorrent acordingly, means -5% of what speedtest gave you as result.
3. Use qBittorrent alternative download schedule, to limit the download during daytime and unlimited speed during night for example
