You tried the one with libtorrent 1.2.x series?
Did you try them recently and did you select to download the one with GUI & libtorrent 1.2.20? qBittorrent-CI_macOS_GUI=ON_libtorrent-1.2.20_Qt-6.9.1 |

@ScavengerGraphics @iyanucodes I created GitHub fork using latest Master build, I changed only one line in the macOS workflow file: Does it work or not? https://github.com/qBittUser/qBittorrent/actions/runs/16632437188 |

The issue that you can't start the nightly build seems to be related to code signing. Try with a new code signature. Paste this in Terminal Also what happens when you try to add a new torrent? |

I think the problem that you can't start nighly builds may come from the hardened runtime. Can you try if you still get the error with this? https://github.com/Ryu481/qBittorrent/actions/runs/16663379906/artifacts/3663439909 |

@ScavengerGraphics @iyanucodes You can now try using newer macOS nightly builds again, because a temporary fix suggested by @Ryu481 was just merged to Master branch. Previously #23016 was supposed to fix launch crash issue, but it wasn't tested enough, so a small change to get macOS builds hopefully easily work for everyone was recently added: |

Is there some way to bring this to attention of the people who are working on the mac build? |

@ScavengerGraphics @iyanucodes Until a new stable version installer or someone fixes your issues in a newer nightly or provides various builds or tips to experiment with. Here's info in the text file about how you can create your own forked qBit build with newer stable or unstable release of various libraries;dependencies. EDIT: 20.09.2025, I made new guides: qBit GitHub Guide 1st part, Creating a fork.txt I hope it's not too confusing. If really neccesary then I can try providing screenshots. If it's inapproriate or someone has time to make a better one, then I can delete my basic draft guide. |

As subject. version 5.0.5 Mac OS Sequoia 15.5
Can't add new torrents and it "no responses" on quit. After an unspecified amount of time, it stops "working" but doesn't show any change (like a crash) until you try to quit, then it goes no response/beach ball
If I clear out the backup folder from fast resume files, it works...until it stops working again.
Anyone else seeing this?
I've tried grabbing nightly builds, but I can't get them to work.
