qbittorent homebrew deprecated?

running brew doctor i've learnt that the brew version is now deprecated, and upon inspecting the version it seems to be out of date (perhaps due to the lack of devs? but how were they handling it before)

anyway, any difference between brew and dmg ? should I already move to another torrent client?

Devs are not interested in signing, but they welcome help. I am interested in coordinating efforts.

Just to be clear. Personally, I am not interested in jumping through all the hoops that Apple puts. However, if anyone else steps up to do the builds, I'll happily consider using them as the official ones. So I encourage you to open a new issue requesting a volunteer to take up the build task. Also it should be a place for users willing to help (monetary support) the volunteer for certificates/apple dev account etc.

For newer versions there are no official builds from the qbittorrent maintainer available. For reference: #22859 In this issue there are also posts from users, who shared a qBittorrent build they made of their own. You may also download the nightlies made by github ci which are available for mac os or build the latest stable release of your own. There is no info if for the next major release there will be binaries for mac os available.
