Bring back Beta and RC tags release

Hello,
Last beta and rc have not been tagged in the git while announced on News and available to download.
v5.2.0rc1
v5.2.0beta1

Plus, no info is given on the Commit version.
Would it be possible to bring back those tags, to be able to test those early versions ?

Will have to wait if and when @sledgehammer999 adds them or to give some explanation or to confirm if the plan is to continue to only tag stable release versions.

What info? If want to see complete list of changes, then look at the Milestones page to see list of PR's and v5_2_0 branch to see list of commits. It's not the first time a changelog hasn't been provided for unstable release.

Which commit versions correspond to 5.2 beta1 and rc1 ?

I think there's no such thing as a version of a commit, because each commit has unique SHA and it seems inappropriate to call any of it as a version.

If you actually wish to see what was the most recent commit included in a release or wish to see complete list of commits included in a release, then I already gave links where you can easily see list of changes.

This would be useful for the flatpak too, since adding a beta branch is difficult without it.
