Unfortunately not. qBt does check for the presence of files on startup and will display "missing files" if the torrents files are not found - but this will not read the contents of the files and check they are correct. The manual GUI operation 'Force Recheck' will read and verify the files content is correct and automatically attempt to download and repair missing/corrupted pieces if not - but this isnt automated "periodic checking". If you are comfortable enough you could script something yourself using "Recheck" via the api (api for "Force Recheck") You could also raise it as an issue. If there is sufficient interest an optional scheduled verification job may be feasible and implemented at some point in the future. I doubt this would ever be default though as the disk I/O impact would be very high. |

Does QBT periodically automatically check the integrity of the torrent payload to ensure there's been no bit rot or problems?
How often?
Does it only check active pieces? Or the entire torrent?
How does it work? And how does the "Errored" status work?
