qBittorrent can`t download anything over 2,4 GHz Wifi, works perfectly on 5 Ghz

What is the problem?

When using 2,4 GHz Wifi the program stucks at "downloading" status and doesn´t download anything, when quitting the program and switching to a 5 GHz Wifi it works again

Steps to reproduce

1- Connect to a 2,4 GHz Wifi
2- Download a torrent with multiple download sources (Like the latest lady gaga album)
3- Expect the file to get stuck at the "downloading" status
4- Quit the program
5- Connect to a 5 GHz Wifi
6- Start the program again
7- Expect the program to start the download without problems

I use qBitttorrrent with it´s default settings, I only changed the default download directory and the incoming port number

@serguix889 this looks like a "you" problem and not a qBittorrent problem.
This is more a hardware and drivers issue, than an application issue.

As long as you have "Any interface" selected, the application will take any available network that is up and use it.

I have tried to download The latest lady gaga album "MAYHEM", that has múltiple download sources and It worked on 2,4 GHz wifi.
I don't know what could have happened when i tried to do The same and It didn't work, maybe i tried to download so many files at once.
Does qbittorrent get stucked on downloading status when you try to download 5 files at once or more?
When i had The problem i was trying to download like 5 or 6 different files and It didn't work on 2,4 Ghz Wifi but after switching to 5 GHz Wifi It started working fine.

Note: I have The program set to download from any interface, i didn't change any setting beside download directory and The incoming port number

I almost forgot, when i had this issue i had Windows 10 installed, not Windows 11, but i don't know if this makes a Big difference

Your additional comments are contradictory with what you wrote in opening post.

You're supposed to give correct info when you create issue report and try to avoid mentioning old issues you can't reproduce.

You can always edit your opening post if you left out something important or if you need to fix anything.

I think OS doesn't matter, because unfortunately this is how qBittorrent and maybe some other torrenting clients work.

I can download hundreds simultaneously and have multiple torrent transfers kept active.

Maybe there's just not enough seeders available to connect with or maybe your storage, file system or network devices can't handle or your device has low RAM to keep up.

You might've modified them long time ago or are using old version defaults, without properly resetting them, no screenshots or copy of your log and settings we can only guess what's causing your issues.

incoming port number.

If you modified it and kept qBit open, then open advanced options and enable automatically announcing to trackers whenever your port or IP changes.

Other workarounds to consider:

Instead of changing connection consider looking at available modem/router settings to combine different networks or change your network devices to something newer so it would automatically use whatever is best Ghz, like consider using Wi-Fi 6/7 compatible devices and network card/adapter. Or just start using wired internet and disconnect other devices to get faster speed and more reliable connection.

Things to keep in mind:

You can easily see in bottom of qBit window if connection status icon is green (working), orange (maybe working) or red (not working at all).

If still have issue, then maybe there's just no seeders available for whatever torrents you're trying to download, issue connecting with trackers or got some other temporary connection issue.

Trackers tab and log file might have explanation what's wrong. If reading log is inconvenient and not willing to provide a copy, then open qBit - View - Log and then look at Execution log tab, it will show important current active session related activities and issues.
