qibo setup question

Hello,
I have installed qick on the zcu111 board.
I would like to connect qibo to this board.
I am curious about the relationship between qibo core, qibolab, qibosoc, and qibocal.
I think that qibo core and qibolab should be installed on the client, and qibosoc should be installed on the board.
Is my understanding correct?

I have another question. Is it correct that the user designs the quantum circuit using qibo core, and then the quantum circuit passes through qibolab and is handed over to qibosoc?

qibo-core is just a proof of concept, not at all related.

To learn how to use Qibosoq connected to Qibolab/Qibocal, I'd suggest you to read Qibosoq docs

Once calibrated, and available as a platform, you could use it as a backend for Qibo circuits execution, instantiating a suitable QibolabBackend (you take it from Qibolab), with a Platform set to the Qibosoq-based one you will have defined.

I'm transfering this issue to Qibosoq, since it is mostly related to the connection between Qibosoq server and its Qibolab client.
The usage of a Qibolab platform as a Qibo backend is a separate issue, but pretty straightforward (in comparison to the first part - that you will need to address first, even chronologically).

Btw, in principle, "Issues" are better used for bug reports and feature requests. "Discussions" are a better place to ask for help (that's why I moved it here).

However, this is just to simplify our management. If you open an issue which ought to be a discussion (as in this case), I will just triage it and transform :)
