Rydberg in the non-1D case

What is the expected behavior?

The Rydberg instructions merged in PR #65 imply a 1D chain of equally spaced atoms. It would be nice to remove this restriction and allow for different topologies of the cold atoms. Design ideas can be discussed here.

I think that answering this question would have a number of use cases:

• For fermions the state-of-the-art are in 2D. Too run specify circuits in experiments like this you would need to be able to specify connectivity maps nicely in 2D.
• For Rydbergs this would move us closer to a unified description of experiments like this.

In both cases you would like to be able to specify the connectivity map nicely. And most likely you would like to have the abilitity to tap into nice qiskit feature like this (if they exist):
