Status of Kotlin 2.1

Dear community,

I was wondering, is there any plan to support Kotlin 2.1 soon for Quarkus? We would love to upgrade, but Quarkus has been stuck at 2.0.21 for quite some while (I believe due to Gradle issues, but they may have been resolved by now?)

Planned yes, but there were problems with Kotlin 2.1 and Gradle 8.13. But this seems to be solved with Kotlin 2.1.20.
