Yes, I added a note in the blog post (currently being deployed). The only item that is Maven-specific is the one about the quarkus packaging and the Maven default lifecycle. Everything else also impacts the Gradle builds. This item is really tied to how Maven behaves and I don't think it makes a lot of sense in the Gradle world as you are a lot more imperative in Gradle build files.

Note that some of the improvements have already been released as we have been working on this topic for a few versions.

Now if you want to have fun profiling the Gradle build and see how it can be improved specifically, you are all welcome :). I'm definitely more of a Maven guy.
