I would like to show a message or add any component within the popup of QSelect above or below the options.
I know that this is possible to do via slots
before-optionsandafter-optionsin combination withposition: sticky;but that has a downside of having the scrollbar over the entire virtual scroll which just doesn't look good in some cases and having to calculate the height of the added space to possibly handle other sticky items.Would it be possible to add a
aboveandbelowslots to overcome this? The "issue" is somehow reproduced here: https://codepen.io/Kylyi/pen/xxPLqgY?editors=1000
Note: I tried to somehow create the component myself by using
QInput,QPopupProxyandQVirtualScrollwhich looks actually quite nice but I love the added "default" behavior ofQSelectfor mobile devices and some other things that I currently have inconsistent with rest of the app. Please check the attached gif of what I created. You can also notice some items grouping in there which might be a nice feature as well but that's something I'd keep in userland I guess.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
