Honeypot field in q-form

I was wondering if there would be any progress towards preventing spam / bots on websites implementing the q-form components. Elementor (wordpress) has a form element called honeypot which is added (non-visibly) to your forms but picked up by bots scraping the site, so you'll be able to catch form submissions that include values in the honeypot and discard the submission.

Any clever ways to do this without the explicit creation of a honeypot api in quasar?
