Format q-input mask date for local date format

Hello,

I know that the topic has been discussed a lot here but I haven't found a solution working for me smoothly.
Is there a possibility to create a q-input field (I don't like date-pickers), define it as a datefield without icon (mask=date) and add a custom format for the date value (DD/MM/YYYY f.e.)

But I don't like to be forced to add multiple code just to format the standard YYYY/MM/DD to DD/MM/YYYY.

There must be an easy solution as many have asked for it as I saw in multiple discussions.

Would be great to hear that something has been implemented or an easy solution is provided.
