Reset Validation for Q-Select

I have implemented the basic validation with following code

    ref="stallRef"
    label="Stall No."
    :options="stalls"
    v-model="anodeProblem.stallNo"
    @update:model-value="value => focusDefectRef()"
    :rules="[$rules.required('Required')]"
  />
</template>

<script>
// ...
setup() {

  // ...

  function onSubmit(){
    // After Save through API Call
    stallRef.value.resetValidation();
  }
  
  // ...
}
</script>

The resetting of staff (select component) after submit is not working.

I was trying to replicate is issue in Codepen, but due to some issue I was not able to login in to Codepen.

Please guide to reset the validation after submit.
