q-editor content element either div or span

When using the q-editor in Firefox, when you empty the field, Firefox automatically adds in a <br>. This is a bug in firefox, which has been reported 4 years ago, but has still not been fixed:

The Workaround would be to use a span element instead of a div for the contentEditable Element.
When you use a span Firefox behaves like it should.
So it would be nice to make this configurable using a new property: contentElement which would have the default div, but can be changed to span.

There where some tickets about this problem before, but they where closed without a fix. This might be the fix for this problem
