MarkupTable extra bottom border when rowspan > 1

I'm using q-markup-table with a 'bordered' style, and separator="cell". Works great, but if a cell has rowspan > 1 and ends up on the bottom row, it has an extra thick bottom border. The 'cell' separator doesn't usually draw a bottom border on the cells in the last row UNLESS that cell uses <td :rowspan="< some value greater than 1 >". Is this a bug?

I tried adding style="border-collapse: collapse" to the q-markup-table props but it doesn't help.
