QPdfviewer with @quasar/app-vite v2

The Quasar PDF Viewer extension (next branch) does not work with @quasar/app-vite v2.
Besides the api compatibility check it seems that there are other issues, as I could not make it to work even after changing it to be compatible with @quasar/app-vite v2.
Is there any plans to update this extension to work with the latest Quasar CLI with Vite?
Does anybody now a workaround to make this operational again?

But it does work well, if you change '^1.0.0-alpha.0' to '^2.0.0-alpha.0' compatibility check that you marked.
