It would be great if q-input could adjust width automatically to accommodate its content.

I don't want it to wrap and add rows, just get wider.

I don't think that is possible and as far as I know that is pretty unconventional because you usually don't want horizontal scroll bars (i.e. with really long content). You will probably have to change it yourself with style="width: ..." and input-style="width: ...".
