bug: Unable to change directory where machines are stored

Describe the bug
I launched quickgui for the first time (after having installed quickemu for the first time). I used the Arch Linux AUR package for quickemu and the AppImage for quickgui (couldn't figure out how to properly build flutter on AUR, so thought this would be easier).

The path is obviously inside the temporary directory where the AppImage is mounted. It appears to be a button (it changes colour on mouse over) but clicking it does nothing. As such I cannot set a sensible path for where to install the virtual machines.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open QuickGui (from AppImage)
2. Attempt to change path, it does nothing.

I am experiencing the same issue with the PPA version (quickgui 1.2.10-1~noble24186.1614).

OS: Kubuntu
Version: 24.04. LTS
KDE Plasma 5.27.11 (Wayland)

is this related to #146 ? If run from a CLI, I don't seem to be able to use the button to change the directory; if run from the .desktop file, it seems to allow it. This is from the rpm installed version on Fedora 41. Very strange.
