R devel no longer built for Ubuntu 24.04

Hi,

It looks like R devel for Ubuntu 24.04 (https://cdn.posit.co/r/ubuntu-2404/pkgs/r-devel_1_amd64.deb) is still R devel from (2026-06-21 r90185).

Is it by design that R devel is no longer regularly built for this platform?

I think this is a bug in rstudio/r-builds: rstudio/r-builds#342

A current workaround is to go to https://cloudsmith.io/~posit/repos/open/packages/ and then find the package you want and install it manually. E.g. R-devel on Ubuntu 24.04, aarch64:

rig add https://dl.posit.co/public/open/deb/ubuntu/pool/noble/main/r/r-/r-devel_20260819/r-devel_20260819_arm64.deb
