How to handle to mouse event on window object

I want get mouse location on window object. However, the following method does not seem to work.

(set-on-mouse-move (window body) (lambda (obj evt) (uiop:println evt)))

How can this be solved?

Believe it or not that works, but the issue is that the window maybe only a line at top of browser. Your window if had contents and then fill the browser physical window it would work. Not usually the a good way to do things. Instead create a div that fills the browser window and attach the events to that new div.

sorry I reopen this issue because It seems clog's bug.

(set-on-mouse-move (window body) (lambda (obj evt) (declare (ignore obj evt))))

that code output error message on console in browser(chrome).

window object doesn't seem to have a getBoundingClientRect method.

so I test to clog::set-event (private), and it works.

(clog::set-event (window body) "mousemove" (lambda (data) (uiop:println data))
           :call-back-script "+(e.clientX) + ':' + (e.clientY)")

As you suggested, filling the screen with a div and attaching events would solve most of the issues, but it’s still not exactly the same as using the window.
