If possible could you please provide a rtopic plugin for version 4.2.5 for Mnesia and Khepri?
I have seen that the latest one is for 4.1.4. Or does 4.1.4 also supports RabbitMQ 4.2.5?
Did I right understood that rtopic will not be possible with equal or higher than RabbitMQ 4.3.0?

Thank you Michael, quick and helpful, just as I know you to be. But in 4.3.0 there will be no chance to use it anymore, right?

@ds2105 in theory it can be ported to Khepri but in its current form, the plugin will not start.

Are you planning to port it. It would be nice to still have such a plugin as rtopic.exchange is now.

This is open source software, so anyone is welcome to look into it.

One thing that has to happen before this plugin can be (potentially) moved to Khepri is the completion of major changes around how we store bindings and implement topic exchange routing with Khepri.

Thank you Michael. So I will look forward having a rtopic.exchange plugin version running with v4.2.5 at first. That's the actual and main issue. But what do you think about my idea to move this plugin directly into your rabbitmq baseline development path like a lot of other plugins already are? I can understand - it's more work for your team but would be closer to your developent paths. just an idea! Have a nice weekend!

@michaelklishin if you'd like to add me to this repo, I can set up an issue to make this plugin compatible with Khepri once rabbitmq/rabbitmq-server#15619 is merged. We could also discuss making this a Tier-1 plugin, if you'd like. Otherwise, I was planning on adding a GitHub workflow to automatically publish a new version of this plugin when a new version of RabbitMQ goes GA. Thanks!

I agree that we should at least try to make this plugin compatible with Khepri 0.18.0.
