🧠 Sprint Question
Is there a need of guideline about the duplication of STAC metadata ?
🧩 Problem
It is clear now that duplication should be avoided as follows:
- STAC metadata which are the same for all items should be provided at the collection level.
- STAC metadata which are the same for all groups should be provided at the item level.
- STAC metadata which are the same for all arrays should be provided at the group level.
However, there might be duplication between the STAC metadata at the asset level and at the corresponding group level.
🎯 Desired Outcome
A recommendation could be established in order to avoid such duplication.
