Hi everyone!

I created tfsumpy after struggling with a complex, monolithic Terraform setup where understanding the impact of changes was nearly impossible. Even in cleaner, modular IaC projects, the outputs of terraform plan or opentofu plan often lacked clarity.

The objective of tfsumpy is a tool that parses, structures, and enriches Terraform/OpenTofu plans to make them more readable, insightful, and developer-friendly. With the rise of agentic AI and multi-agent planning (MCP), there's huge potential to build intelligent infrastructure analysis on top of these plans.
