[bug/question] should subresource status be restored with instances of a CRD?

testing a backup/restore with a new cluster, seems like subresource status is not being restored for any of my resources that come from a CRD.

if you find this issue, you have to also include the CRDs in the backup for this to work properly. If you do not include the CRDs, the sub resource will not be restored.
