Yes, you should upgrade to the latest 1.33 patch release before upgrading to 1.34. The stable channel was bumped to 1.34 prior to the etcd maintainers releasing additional cautions about the the upgrade; this is not a new change for our stable channel. The upgrade is not "lethal" - whether or not it is a problem depends on how your cluster has been operated, and the failure is recoverable. |

Hey guys, I've just noticed that old stable was 1.33.6[something] and as of today it points to: https://github.com/rancher/rke2/releases/tag/v1.34.3%2Brke2r3
Meanwhile we noticed that big warnings signs on the last 1.33.7 version in regards of etcd ( https://github.com/rancher/rke2/releases/tag/v1.33.7%2Brke2r3 ).
So: if we always follow your stable stream (1.33.6 and now 1.34.3 R3)... that could lead into etcd issues?
Shall we upgrade to 1.33.7 first?
Edit: just noticed stable was 1.34.3rke2r1 before and now r3. I still think the jump from 1.33.6 is lethal, right ;-)?
So I think a hint on the 1.34.3 R3 version would help others ;-)
