Currently cuml.UMAP uses the nn-descent implementation in RAFT. This implementation is deprecated (and has been for a while) in favor of the one in cuVS. AFAIK cuML is the only remaining consumer of this code. We should transition to the implementation in cuVS so RAFT can delete the old implementation and we can stop pushing bugfixes to both cuVS and RAFT.
