PIO syntax highlighting?

I'm getting conflicting info online about whether this should be working or not. I have PIO files (assembly for the PIO interfaces) and there is NO syntax highlighting in the file at all. It looks kind of out of place when the rest of the code base has nice coloring. Are assembly files for the PIO supposed to be syntax highlighted or aren't they? It'd be cool if they were.

Currently this extension doesn't do any syntax highlighting of it's own - it uses the C/C++ extension for syntax highlighting in those files, but the PIO (and ASM) files don't currently have syntax highlighting

@collin80 I use this extension for that: PIO ASM Syntax Highlighting.
It's OK, with a few known defects:

• It doesn't highlight the C code included in the .pio. (see line 32 and below, pull request with solution merged, not released)
• doesn't recognise a few inverse instructions, like jmp !x (see line 15)

But overall, I think it's useful.

@will-v-pi I looked at the source code of the PIO ASM syntax highlighting plugin, it really seems to be quite simple. Unfortunately, I can't directly copy-paste it, since the license is not open-source. Would you take a PR to this repo where I rewrite the feature from zero, or would you prefer writing it yourself (or I guess the third option is to not have the feature at all)?
