Unavailability of Pi Imager 2.0

The documentation for this feature (which works great when you can install it) indicates that installation is automated under RPI Imager 2, but the latest available public image seems to be 1.9.6. Until 2 is available, could you please ammend to either indicate how to obtain what is presumably a beta version or indicate intentional unavailability until 2.0 is realeased?

Ideally I'd like to pull RPI Imager 2 somehow.

Is DWC2 managed the same way as it was in prior kernels (before bookworm, which seems broken)?

Thanks for the report! You're right — Imager 2.0 isn’t publicly available yet (latest is 1.9.6), which is why the USB Gadget toggle doesn’t appear. I updated the README to explicitly note that the Imager option becomes available only once 2.0 is released.
I wouldn't recommend trying the Image RC yet for using this feature as it requires quite a bit of setup to use it before stable release. I'll keep this thread updated once Imager 2.0 and the new rpios image have been released.

Re: DWC2 “seems broken” — could you share a bit more detail on what exactly seemed broken in your setup?
