I have the wall mount opener RJ020 that lives in the weird in-between space of having a round yellow Learn button but being Security+ 1.0 device.

After a recent and very brief 30 second mid-day power outage I noticed that the RATGDO opened my Garage Door in the middle of the night when one of my failsafe Home Assistant automations sent the Close command.

I've recreated this by doing the following

  1. Remove power from the Garage Door Opener for approximately 30 seconds. (Optionally remove the RATGDO from power)
  2. Reconnect power and wait for the Garage Door to fully activate the Wall Button (If the RATGDO was removed from power reconnect it to power and wait for it to start up and connect to Wi-Fi)
  3. Send a Close command via the RATGDO
  4. The RATGDO will Open the Garage Door

Here is what the logbook looks like in Home Assistant for the above- you can see that the door status is correctly showing as Closed and when the Close action is sent it Opens:

Thereafter sending the Close command to an already closed door does nothing- as expected.
