- Download the latest ZIP file from GitHub Releases
- Extract the ZIP file to a location on your computer
- Open Chrome/Brave and go to
chrome://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode" using the toggle in the top right corner
- Click "Load unpacked" in the top left corner
- Select the folder containing the extracted extension files
- Umbra Wallet should now appear in your extensions list
- Pin the extension for easy access by clicking the puzzle piece icon in your browser toolbar
Note: Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons versions are coming soon.
- Click the Umbra Wallet icon in your browser toolbar
- Select "Create a new wallet" on the welcome screen
- Choose an alias for your wallet
- Connect to the Aztec network (default RPC: http://98.70.35.172:8080)
- Access network settings through the menu
- Verify your RPC URL connection
- Use the reconnect feature if needed
- Monitor connection status in the interface

- Access full history through "Activity"

If you can't connect to the network:
- Verify your internet connection
- Check the RPC URL in network settings (default: http://98.70.35.172:8080)
- Click the "Reconnect" button

- Wait for network confirmation
- Review error messages
If the extension doesn't appear:
- Refresh the extensions page
- Verify all files were extracted correctly
- Ensure Developer mode is enabled
