chore: Clean up repository - remove test files and build artifacts

Removed:
- Development documentation files (COMPARISON, DEVELOPMENT_STATUS, etc.)
- Test PDF and markdown files
- Build artifacts (build/, egg-info/)
- Old publishing guides (PUBLISH_GUIDE.md, PUBLISH_TO_PYPI.md)

Added:
- emoji_handler.py module for ReportLab emoji support

Updated:
- converter.py with minor refinements

Repository now contains only essential files for v1.4.0 release.
