Workrave stores its settings in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Workrave). You could configure the correct settings using the UI, export the settings (e.g. using regedit) and import then during installation. Workrave does not support a read-only mode, where the user cannot quit Workrave or change the settings. In my opinion, it is a bad idea to prevent users from changing the settings. Users should use settings they feel comfortable with. Users that already have RSI complaints may want more frequent breaks than user that just want to prevent RSI complaints. So it is very unlikely that I will add this feature. |

Greetings, I would like information regarding a mass installation via Group Policy. The software will be installed on all company PCs that are part of my domain.
I would like the installation to be in read-only mode, so that users are prevented from stopping the application or changing its preferences.
I would also like to know if it's possible to preconfigure the time settings. Would this be done via a conf.ini file? I need the configuration to be identical across all machines.
