Empty activity statistics on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS

Describe the bug
The Activity statistics shows all zeros for all parameters: mouse usage, mouse movement, etc.

To Reproduce

1. Use the standard Ubuntu Focal Fossa 20.04.6 with standard desktop environment
2. Use the Workrave app for a while, installed from ppa:rob-caelers/workrave
3. Click "Statistics" in Workrave's menu
4. Select any date in the calendar, when Workrave was used
5. Then go to "Activity" tab
6. The bug is that the stat shows all zeros.

Expected behavior
Activity statistics parameters must be positive, not zeros.

Additional context
I had been using Workrave 1.10.37 from Ubuntu repo, and the Activity statistics worked. Then I added ppa:rob-caelers/workrave and the bug appeared.

In a very mistirious way it started to work today(probably, after reboot). But usually I suspend PC and reboot it once in two or three months. So I expect this bug to come back. Now it looks like this:
