is that possible to use other env name instead of 'AWS_REGION' to define where dynamo db is located?

I would like to use the dynamodb database in the different region instead of the one that specific from 'AWS_REGION' because I use 'AWS_REGION' for other stuff and want to store the database in somewhere else.
