I am working on my first React Native project and I find it really useful to work with AbortController signals for aborting events in useEffect hooks. I would like to propose adding this capability to React Native event listeners, specifically for components like Keyboard. My suggestion is to add an options interface to the listener like in web development:

This would make event listener cleanup much more elegant in React Native, similar to how we handle it in web development.
