Decision: Add to 2.x milestone?

We have a lot of issues w/ PRs that represent a solid positive impact - I'd consider them worth releasing in bulk to optimize the number of Q&A iterations.

• Add Sphinx 7 support #1463
• jQuery not loaded automatically with sphinxcontrib-jquery 4.0.0 #1452 (Remove version logic on sphinxcontrib-jquery, require >=4,<5 #1446 + Add a call to add_js_files (sphinxcontrib.query) #1448)
• :menuselection: style #1426
• Fix margins between <dt> and <dl> #1450
• Prevent permalink icon from wrapping alone #1417
• Docs: Remove "git install" method from instructions #1375
• Adds support for docutils 0.19 #1336

Also great candidates:

• Show version for Sphinx and this template in footer. #1410
• Flyout: use the new integration point #1445
• Workaround for dirhtml builder with wrong canonical URLs #1407

No PR but very important and low risk:

• Empty .po files #1469
• Remove html5shiv #1477

I haven't looked through the dependent issues much yet, but besides bug fixes going into a 1.2.1 release I don't think there is too much work that should supersede work like the dashboard or addon work, so I'd probably say we're a bit out on a 1.3 milestone still.

1.3.0 is already released, so this plan hasn't happened. However, I think there are good candidates to include in the followings 2.x that are coming.
