Time element for Datepicker

Having a time picker (hours/minutes) on the date picker would be awesome.

I'd like to add one similar to the one seen here in the history selector. It might take me a little while to get around to it though.

With HTML5 having reasonable adoption, are these separate elements strictly necessary?

At the very least it would be useful to have a wrapper for the HTML5 tags.
