Musicbrainz mirrors
Due to the difficulties often created by syncing your local Headphones database with the Musicbrainz database, it is recommended that you use a mirror for best success.
-
Make a donation here to create a username/password for the mirror: http://headphones.codeshy.com/vip
-
In your Headphones instance, go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Musicbrainz. Change the "Musicbrainz Mirror" drop-down to say "headphones" and then put the username and password in that you chose in step 1.
-
Save the settings and restart Headphones.
-
Go here: http://headphones.codeshy.com/vip/updateusername.php
-
Enter the same email address that you registered with. Choose a new username (if desired) and a new password.
-
Update your information in Headphones, save the settings, and restart.
In some cases, you may prefer to set-up your own mirror and connect to that instead.
