Due to the difficulties often created by syncing your local Headphones database with the Musicbrainz database, it is recommended that you use a mirror for best success.

VIP Musicbrainz Mirror

  1. Make a donation here to create a username/password for the mirror: http://headphones.codeshy.com/vip

  2. In your Headphones instance, go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Musicbrainz. Change the "Musicbrainz Mirror" drop-down to say "headphones" and then put the username and password in that you chose in step 1.

  3. Save the settings and restart Headphones.

Reset VIP Musicbrainz Mirror Account Info

  1. Go here: http://headphones.codeshy.com/vip/updateusername.php

  2. Enter the same email address that you registered with. Choose a new username (if desired) and a new password.

  3. Update your information in Headphones, save the settings, and restart.

Setting up your own Mirror

In some cases, you may prefer to set-up your own mirror and connect to that instead.
