OpenWrt package

I know that the project is not actively developed but maybe it works well enough for a basic usage.
It would be great to make an OpenWrt package so that I can install it on my router with a USB stick and enjoy a freedom.
Does anybody tried to make it? Or maybe anyone interested in this.
I'll add this to my TODO list for a later but if anybody wants to contribute or test please let me know and I'll prioritize it.
