Why output of "renovate --version" is mixed with output from config.js?

To reproduce the problem, just create a config.js in current folder with content console.log("Message from config.js");

Then run renovate --version, below is the actual output:

Message from config.js
40.36.2

Expected it output the version number only

Sorry, I'm not good on typescript and I don't think I could create PR for it.

I'm just wondering if it's by design or if it's a bug, and is there workaround for it?

It's not by design. But it's also not our intended design to add logging to the config.js

And I tried use command below to get expected version of renovate, it works:

renovate_bot_version=$(env --chdir=/tmp renovate --version)

The previous command does not work, if set LOG_LEVEL="DEBUG", even run renovate --version from a folder without config.js, it will mix debug information into the output.

Need get the latest line for the output to retrieve correct version number:

renovate_bot_version=$(renovate --version | tail -n1)
