The way it is done here works really well on mobile. I like the picture buttons, we could make the same for the main categories, so laptops phones etc with a picture button. The search is clearly defined at the top with a nice logo/title. Below could be statistics and pointers to start contributing. Perhaps a general background image would also be nice
