Problems with exporting to Bib and quoting according to APA7 standard

Hey there, I am new here so I hope this is just a stupid question.
My Setup: Zotero + Better BibTex ==> single bib file which is used by LaTeX (Texifier is my App). I am using a Mac.

Luckily I just got back a small paper which I did, right before starting with my master thesis and what shall I say, the whole part with my sources was a disaster.

Example of a Video file. I had some issues even getting the URL in there and to see what field translates how, I just filled all fields which where empty with the German word for the field. So please don't mind, there is a lot in there.

My Prof told me it should look like this in the Bib

My Problems are:

• Zotero Export only shows "misc" not video.
• Zotero Export does not Show the "TEDxNewcastle"
• Zotero Export has the "Verfügbar 12.September 2024 unter" (available on Sept. 12th 2024)

Any Ideas how to make this right? I am guessing, this is something I need to setup in Zotero/Better BibTeX properly and not mainly in Texifier...

Help is very appreciated. As I want a fast solution, if there are some consultants here , send me a quote :D

If you want video, you'll need to export as biblatex. Bibtex does not support video.

thank you for the reply. does Better BibTex Support Biblatex? I set the checkbox at "Use BibLaTeX extended Name format". Or is there any other option I need to use.
Any Idea about the other things? Why does "TEDX" not show up but the date is present there?

Yes. In the export dialog, any export type that starts with "Better" is hosted by BBT.

For that I will need a debug log. Right-click the entry and send a BBT debug log from the popup menu.

uuuuh. intereting.... My Export was set to APA7. I moved to Better BibLaTex now.
But it does not look like much has changed...

although I only changed the export and perhaps I need to do a restart or something.... And Update Better BibTex. Just saw the version is outdated...

My Export was set to APA7.

That's quick copy. If quick copy was set to APA7, and you were getting bibtex, that would be a Zotero bug. You'd have to report that on the Zotero forums.
