DOI/URL settings ignored for Auto or Manual export of Better CSL JSON and Better CSL YAML

What happened?

Thank you for this excellent plugin for all these years.
I don't think this issue is related to items in the library (Debug log chosen from a file with URL and DOI).

Issue

Both URL and DOI appear in pandoc export to PDF when preference for 'DOI only' is selected.

Steps

• Automatic export of Library On Change
• Format: Better CSL JSON or Better CSL YAML
• generate Quarto book PDF via POSITRON or VS Code
• After PDF generation both DOI and URL shown in bibliography citation.
• CSL: cse-citation-sequence-brackets-8th-edition.csl

Same result with manual Export

BBT preferences

Add URLs to BibTex export = no
When an item has both a DOI and a URL, export = DOI

(this is similar to Closed [Bug]: Auto-Export ignores DOI/URL settings #2573, but occurs with either Auto or Manual export)

Those settings are specifically for bibtex.

Any chance this feature could be extended to CSL JSON / YAML exports, please?

It's possible that the Council of Science Editors (CSE) style might prefer both URL and DOI, when available.
Hence, why it uses both. I haven't been able to access their Style Guide.
In general, one or other is preferred; usually DOI if available.

I'm not entirely sure why you'd want to remove them -- IIRC the CSL style can determine on its own whether both are present and display one or both as the style demands. If the style prefers one it should just display one. But you can remove the URL in a postscript:

Yes, CSL style decides.
But sometimes small modifications to a style can be helpful to meet a requirement.
