Garbage characters once started with specific kernal

Hi,

I just though to bring into your attention that retroterm seems not to work properly if on the UltimatII+ someone is using the very useful device manager rom kernel from Device Manager. What you get is a stream of ? right after the terminal starts and no way to issue the atdt command to connect. All other terms I have used are working as expecting.

Do you know if this person is using the userport or ACIA version of the terminal? And if the later, is the ACIA emulation enabled in the Ultimate?
I dont have an ethernet adapter to test with my Ultimate II, but at least on VICE if running the ACIA version with ACIA emulation disabled results in a constant stream of NULL characters (nothing printed but constant sound and no response from keyboard)

I talk with this guy for the Device Manager and he told me that this is a known issues with ACIA and he will fix his end so retroterminal will work when using his Kernal. So for now we are good. Thanks for the quick response
